Free profile review
Send the transcript. We will tell you what is there.
The first step of the method, done for free. You receive a written review of academics and activities, then a 30-minute call with the counsellor who would do the work. No obligation, and we will say if you do not need a counsellor at all.
Or write to [email protected]. Families in the UAE, Singapore and elsewhere: sessions run on your time zone.
What to send
- Latest transcript or report cards, Grade 9 onwards
- A list of activities, with years and hours per week
- Any test scores so far: SAT, ACT, PSAT, school predicted grades
- Countries and courses being considered, even loosely
- One line on what worries you most
Documents are used only to write the review and are deleted on request. Nothing about the student is ever published. Our privacy stance.
What happens next
Four steps, about a week
- 01
You send the documents
By email, or through the booking form's notes. - 02
We write the review
Academics against the target tier, activities scored for depth and cohesion, and the two or three things we would do first. Usually within four working days. - 03
The call
Thirty minutes with the counsellor. Questions in both directions. We say plainly whether the target list is realistic. - 04
A written proposal, if it makes sense
Scope, price, cadence and a start date. If we are not the right fit, we say so and suggest what is.
The call itself
Thirty minutes, spent like this
- First 5 minutes
What the written review found, in plain language. You will have read it already, so this is the short version and your questions.
- Next 15
The honest read on the target list. Which universities are realistic for this profile, which are not, and what would have to change for them to be. This is the part most families say they have never been given straight.
- Next 5
What the next twelve months would have to contain. Competitions, research, tests, and the order they go in.
- Last 5
Whether we are the right firm for it, what it would cost, and what to do instead if we are not.
When to book
What the call is worth, by grade
Grade 9 and 10
The best time, and the least common. Everything that decides a selective application can still be built rather than described. Book now and the next two years have a plan.
Grade 11
The busiest moment to start, and still early enough. One strong pillar can be built, tests planned properly, and the list made from a diagnosis rather than a hope.
Grade 12, first half
Application year work: essays, the list, the calendar, the supplements. The profile is what it is, and the job is to argue it as well as it can be argued.
Grade 12, second half
Usually too late for counselling to change an outcome. Worth a call only if you want an honest read, or you are considering a gap year or a transfer.
Do not book if
Four reasons to save your time
You want a guarantee
Nobody can sell one. We can raise the odds and make the application argue properly. We cannot make a decision for an admissions office.
It is November of Grade 12 and the profile is thin
Counselling cannot manufacture two years of evidence in three weeks. Book anyway if you want an honest read, but expect us to say so.
You want someone to write the essay
We will not. Not a sentence, not the activity descriptions, not the research paper. What editing does and does not mean is set out in full. If authorship is what you are buying, we are the wrong firm and the call will be short.
Price is the only question
Free means an agent paid a commission by the universities it places you at. Our fees run from ₹50,000 for Australia to ₹5,00,000 for a Grade 12 year of US applications. If that settles it, read what counselling actually costs in India rather than booking.
Questions
Before you send anything
Is this a sales call?
It is a working call that may end in a proposal. You get the written review whether or not you engage us, and it is yours to take to another counsellor. The most common outcome after a first call is not an engagement: it is a family deciding they can run the next six months themselves, which we will tell you if we think it is true.
Who is on the call?
The senior counsellor who would run the engagement. Not a sales associate, not a coordinator, not someone who hands you over afterwards. That is the same person for every part of the work, which is the main reason the calendar has limits.
What if we do not have all the documents?
Send what exists. A transcript and a rough activity list are enough to write a useful review. Predicted grades, test scores and a shortlist help, but their absence is itself information: a Grade 11 student with no scores and no list is a different conversation from one with both.
How long does it take to get the review?
Usually within four working days of receiving the documents. During the October and December peaks it can be a week. If it will be longer than that we say so when you send them, rather than letting you wait.
What happens to the documents we send?
They are used to write the review and nothing else. They are never published, never shown to another family, and deleted on request. No student is named or pictured anywhere on this site, which is a policy we explain in full rather than just assert.
We are outside India. Does that change anything?
No. Sessions run over video on your time zone, and we work with Indian families in the UAE, Singapore and elsewhere. Invoicing is in USD or AED where that is easier. The one thing that changes is the deadline arithmetic, because school calendars differ.
What does it cost if we do engage?
It depends on the destinations. The US is ₹2,00,000 a year in Grade 10, ₹3,00,000 in Grade 11 and ₹5,00,000 in Grade 12. The UK is ₹2,50,000, Singapore and Hong Kong ₹1,50,000 each and Australia ₹50,000, once. Each destination after the main one is 25% off, and each fee is paid in two halves. Single pieces of work start at ₹25,000. The fees are fixed and published, so the review changes the plan, not the price.
The first conversation is with the person who would do the work.
A written review, then thirty minutes. Free, and it ends with an honest answer either way.
