Who this is for
What we do
Most student research fails at scope. We narrow the question until it can be answered with the data and time available, and we make sure it sits inside the pillar so it strengthens the story rather than adding a stray line.
Primary research with surveys or experiments where feasible; rigorous secondary research where not. The student learns the difference, which is what a professor will ask about in an interview.
Abstract, introduction, literature, method, results, discussion. We edit for argument, not ornament, and the student writes every draft.
Journal selection by acceptance rate, cost and credibility, from free selective journals to fast peer-reviewed options. We also prepare statements of purpose for mentorship programs such as Cambridge's CCIR and NUS GRIP.

Questions
A paper the student can explain, defend and connect to their pillar helps a great deal, especially for US, UK and Singapore applications and for research programs. A paper bought from a paper mill hurts, and interviewers can tell within two questions. The value is in the work, and the publication is proof the work happened.
For science: the Journal of Emerging Investigators, NHSJS, the Journal of High School Science, IJHSR, the STEM Fellowship Journal and Vanderbilt's Young Scientist. For any subject, the Curieux Review; for history and the humanities, the Concord Review and the Schola. Fees run from none stated to about USD 350, paid either at submission or only on acceptance. We choose by the paper's quality, field and calendar; the checked list is on our research journals page.
Your counsellor runs scoping, structure and editing directly. Field-specific mentors, typically graduate students or early-career researchers, are brought in for method and literature where the topic needs it.

A high school research paper helps college admissions when the student did the work and can defend it. Paper mills and pay-to-publish hurt. When it helps.

A statement of purpose for a research program like CCIR is about 500 words in four paragraphs: question, preparation, fit and next step. How to write each one.
