Reports

Research we publish because the numbers are not otherwise available.

Families are asked to make six-figure decisions on a market that publishes almost nothing. Where we can gather a number honestly, we publish it with its source, the date we checked it, and a licence to reuse it.

Method

How these are put together

Every report here is a desk survey of things already published, not a poll and not an estimate. Each provider, programme or fee is opened on its own official page, recorded with the URL and the date it was read, and left alone. Where an organisation publishes nothing, that absence is the finding and is reported as such, rather than filled in with a guess.

Figures reported by a named third party are marked as reported rather than confirmed, and never blended into the same average as a published one. Nothing is interpolated. Nothing is carried forward from a previous cycle without being re-opened and re-checked, because admissions numbers in this market move every year and a stale figure is worse than no figure.

Each report states its own window, the exchange rate used where two currencies appear, and what was deliberately excluded. The underlying table ships as a CSV alongside the page, so the arithmetic can be checked rather than trusted. If a number here is wrong, we would rather hear about it and correct it with a dated note than quietly restate it.

We publish this because the alternative is what families currently work from: a competitor’s sales page, a forum thread, or a figure someone half-remembers. A market where nobody publishes prices is not a market where prices are fair. Our own are on the pricing page, for the same reason.

The same honesty applies to our own prices.

Fees published by destination, scope written, nothing added on top.
